New year's eve

And I clearly didn't make it with the Project 365. I feel kind of bad about it, but once I got behind there was no catching up.

I'm playing with the idea of another photoblog--without the picture-every-day pressure. We'll see.

In the meantime, if there is anyone still reading here, Happy New Year!

224/365 More flowers...

Doesn't that look like a raspberry in the middle of those flowers?

How can it be August already?

~I don't know where July went...and I can't believe I haven't posted any pix in almost a month. Time to catch up--again. Sigh.

186/365 Getting testy

~This isn't the clearest nor the best composed shot, but I like it's expressiveness. Usually the orioles get long pretty well at the feeder, but there was a bit of competition going on here!

163/365 Catching up

~I debated just omitting all the days I skipped posting, but in the end, I've decided to add a picture a day from my archives (and yes, I'm post-dating them). This is one of the first pix I took with my very first digital camera in 2004; the kitty belongs to my friend the caffeinated priest and the view is from my bedroom window in my NYC apartment.
