~This is hanging outside the labor and delivery waiting room. It's one of serveral pieces hanging in the halls from a designer who lives that in the area, but now is widely known.

~Two ferns sit in my living room, plants given to me after I moved in. I'm amazed at how healthy and big they stay.

~Years ago when I lived Down South it was the fashion to hang big ferns on front porches. I didn't have a porch but I did occasionally try to have a fern, but they always turned brown and died pretty quickly. A friend and I used to joke that those folks with ferns on their porches must go buy new ones every week or so to keep them looking so good.
