17/365 Welcome to my world

~Great photography this isn't. But part of Project 365 is taking pictures of our every day lives and this is a big part of where I spend my time.

~Yes, it's messy. It's not always this way--it has been worse. And occasionally for a brief and shining moment my desk will be neat.

My school desk looks like this every day between September and June, except when I have a sub and then I pack up all my stacks into a box where they languish until I'm motivated (distressed) enough to get them out and grade them or file them...and my dining room tables looks the same way during the school year. (Good thing we usually eat in the breakfast nook.)

And no apologies necessary for the slice-of-life photos. Some days that's all there's truly time or weather to get. I think project365 can handle it (and if it can't -- oh well, because mine is festooned with them, too). :-)

Oops. I only have one dining room table. I clicked publish instead of preview. D'oh!

Your desk seriously looks like that? I don't know how you get anything done...:)

we homeschool so unfortunately large chunks of my house look like that - sort of an ordered chaos.

Love this picture.

As a colleague of mine had up on her wall:

A cluttered desk is a sign of genius.

As far as I am concerned, it's a sign of life and activity.
