10/365 Deja vu

~Whenever I buy Girl Scout cookies it takes me back to my own days as a Girl Scout. I still have my Junior Scout book packed up somewhere, but I had forgotten about my badge sash until I got some stuff from my mom's house last summer.

~And yes, that is a photography badge...I think my interest in photography started back then when I got a Kodak Instamatic for Christmas in 5th or 6th grade. But it was only about three years ago that I first got a decent camera so I could pursue it.

~btw, I was terrible at selling cookies!

~I'm not happy with the quality of this photo, but I'm too tired to work at it tonight...maybe I'll do a retake later.

I like this shot, is so darn evocative - I loved peering at the different badges and yes it took me back to my girl guide (canada) days.
You also made me think about my kodak camera! How I wish I still had those photos...

I never figured out how to buy girl scout cookies in the city. Do you know?

I love all the badges. And I started with a BROWNIE camera-before the instamatic! Remember the flash cubes? OOOh I thought they were so space age!

Ianqui, I'm trying to remember if I ever bought any when I was there...maybe they set up tables somewhere--Union Square or some place like that?

oh, dude... I totally hated selling cookies. Other people's parents would take the order forms to work, but not mine! I had to do all of the selling myself, so I never sold 100 boxed to get a stuffed animal.

I wonder what we have to do to get a photography badge? We should find out and all earn them!
